 Mary has been an Occupational Therapist for over 35 years. She was the founder of Maple Valley Pediatric Therapy.  Mary has also provided OT services at the Kent and Fife School Districts, Children's Therapy Center of Kent, Rosemary White's Pediatric PT and OT services, and the WA Elks Therapy Program for Children.  She was an instructor in the OT Assistant program at Green River College.  

Mary is certified in NDT and has a strong background in Sensory Integration, including a mentorship with Lucy Miller at the Star Instititue in Denver.  

Mary is the co-author of the book, Pediatric Massage for the Child with Special Needs. She is passionate about sharing massage and yoga with infants, children, families, and adults with neurodevelopmental, and health issues. 

Mary is a registered yoga teacher, certified yoga therapist and an Accessible Yoga trainer. Some of the highlights of  Mary's yoga teacher trainings have included: Radiant Child Yoga, Yoga Calm Intensive, Relax into Yoga for Seniors, Essential Low Back Intensive, Yoga for Arthritis, Therapeutic Yoga and the Accessible Yoga Training. Most recently, Mary received her Aquatic Yoga certification. 

Mary and Brenda Bakke, PT, C-IAYT have taught a variety of workshops on Yoga and Mindfulness throughout the country for parents, educators, and health care professionals for over 10 years. Their combined expertise and friendship make participating in their workshops a warm, fun, and dynamic educational experience.  Participants leave feeling relaxed, renewed, and rejuvenated.

We offer:
1.)  Customized, in-person, and on-line yoga, yoga therapy, and relaxation services for people of all ages, abilities, and health conditions.  We love  "First-timers" and those thinking "I'm not  flexible enough" or "I don't want to go to a studio or gym."

2.) Infant and pediatric massage instruction - including children with special needs, medical issues, or disabilities.

3.) Yoga and Mindfulness Workshops - for educators, therapists, counselors, etc.
